Robert Laus

Robert Laus is a highly experienced physiotherapist and educator specializing in sports injuries, musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging, and rehabilitation. He earned his degree in 1989 in the Netherlands and moved to London in 1994, where he established sports injury clinics in premier health clubs and provided services to high-profile organizations, including newspapers and investment banks.

In 2004, Laus co-founded Waterside Physiotherapy in Canary Wharf, focusing on diagnosing and rehabilitating complex sports injuries. He is recognized as one of the pioneers of integrating musculoskeletal ultrasound imaging into sports and orthopedic medicine. Since 1996, he has used ultrasound imaging to provide detailed diagnoses and design customized rehabilitation programs. Additionally, Laus is a leading faculty member for advanced ultrasound training for Sports Medicine Ultrasound Group (SMUG), teaching physiotherapists, sports physicians, and orthopedic surgeons across Europe and beyond.
