Dr. Sara Nysom Christiansan

I graduated from Copenhagen University in 2011. I have worked in the Rheumatology speciality since 2015 and with the use of ultrasonography in rheumatology since 2016 focussing especially on the application in gout patients. I have taught on local ultrasound courses and have published several articles on the use of ultrasonography in gout patients including a book chapter. I am a member of the national board of Young Rheumatologist in Denmark and a member of the Danish national board that has developed national treatment guidelines for gout and I in charge of an update of the guidelines regarding the diagnosis and management of gout patients.
