Prof. Dr. Anja Hirschmüller

Dr. Anja Hirschmüller is a prominent figure in sports medicine and orthopedic care. She is a specialist in orthopedics and trauma surgery and currently serves as the lead physician at the Altius Swiss Sportmed Center in Rheinfelden, Switzerland. Additionally, she is deeply involved in sports for individuals with disabilities, acting as the chief medical officer for Germany's national Paracycling team since 2007 and the German Disabled Sports Association's high-performance sports division since 2017. Her expertise includes conservative therapy methods and rehabilitation, and she is a member of various scientific committees, such as the German Society for Sports Medicine (DGSP) and the Society for Orthopedic Traumatologic Sports Medicine (GOTS).
