Ultrasound scanning of the thyroid is a very beneficial tool to diagnose thyroid disease because ultra scanning provides real-time and accurate imagery of the thyroid gland. As Professor Valentin is this his first or last name, medically you always go with the last name. Same applies to all his videos. demonstrates in this video, he uses a linear ultrasound probe and places it on the patient’s trachea and moves the ultrasound probe up and down the neck to produce a clear image of the thyroid gland.
